Prompto noticed he just called what seems to be a wild black chocobirb and he welcomes him with a few greens– angry squawks and he… He politely pushed that gentle hand giving him greens.

Never have Prompto seen a Chocobirb eating meat but here he is. Eating a Garulessa Steak with glee. Cooked of course.

Did I mentioned that Ignis and Gladio is the owner of the Chocobo Ranch? And they are Prompto’s adoptive parents?
