Noctis notices within an hour of it dying–he keeps his place at a very specific temperature range. Calling to have it fixed is no problem, but if nobody can meet him at the arcade for a few hours for the problem to be resolved he’ll grumpily stalk around a mall. The worst reaction if it will take a day (or more) to repair.

Prompto comes home in the afternoon to find his place about 10 degrees warmer than usual. He calls to have it repaired right away, then immediately calls a friend and asks to crash at their place while his home was “cosplaying Hell itself”. 

Gladio handles the heat better than the rest of them–he sees to repair arrangements, then takes off his shirt and sits by a fan with a cold beer. Once it hits 90 or so inside, he’ll see about staying with a friend until things are fixed. Is grumpy when the humidity makes his books get soggy. 

Ignis wakes up covered in sweat and thinks he’s ill before he realizes his A/C has died. He will rage for a moment, alone, then see to having repairs called in before showering and finding a hotel to check into. The least likely to mention his A/C being out to any of his friends.
