NOCTIS

Noctis sniffed through his nose again,
causing your shoulders to convulse with silent laughter.

“Stop laughing at me” He complained behind
you in his nasal voice, which was also hoarse and husky.

You turned around in the bed to be facing him
and grinned playfully.

“I’m not laughing at you”

“Yeah you are” In return, he shifted to be
lying down on his back instead of on his side, crossing his arms over his
chest. “You can’t stop smiling”

“That’s because you’re adorable when you’re
sick” You booped his nose jokingly, knowing it would annoy him a little.

“Buzz off…” Noctis closed his eyes lazily. “You
shouldn’t even be here, I’m gonna get you
sick!”

“Well, then you’d have to take care of me. It’s a win win situation”
You knew Noctis was feeling worse when he didn’t respond to your banter.

A lack of playfulness between you two was
extremely rare, and it was a bad sign.

To further reinforce your suspicion, Noctis
frowned and groaned in discomfort.

“I’m freezing” He whispered, snuggling closer
to you in search for some body warmth.

As soon as his body grazed yours, you noticed he was shaking. You frowned worriedly.

“Hold on, Noct” You nimbly got up and looked
for a blanket.

After a few seconds of looking around, you
found one in the closet and put it over Noct’s form. He curled up under it,
keeping his eyes closed.

“Do you want me to prepare you some hot
chocolate or something?” You said, walking over to him and kindly rubbing his
arm.

“No” He shook his head grumpily. “I don’t
think I can stomach anything”

“Then what do you need, Noct?”

“I don’t know”

“Sleep maybe?” You ventured, knowing how much
he liked his naps.

“Yeah, come here” Eyes still closed, he
blindly reached out for you.

You hurried to lie back down next to him,
snuggling closer to him under the warm blanket. You faced him and gently
caressed his face, also brushing tufts of messy dark hair away from his eyes and forehead.

He felt slightly warm, which meant he might
be coming up with a fever. It got you worried, and you started to wonder
whether you should call Ignis or not. Maybe Regis or someone else.

You observed him as he sniffled again,
coughing on his hand. He was a little sweaty, probably having some degrees of
fever already.

“How are you feeling, Noct?” You asked him
tenderly.

“I got a killer headache” He opened his eyes
and looked at you tiredly. “And I can’t really get warm, this sucks…”

“Do you want me to call Iggy? Maybe he knows
of some medicine you can take to make you feel better” Seeing as he blankly
looked at you, you started to stand up again, clueless about what to do to help
him. “I can get your dad if you want”

“Just…” Noctis sighed as he held your arm. “Stay
here…”

“Sure thing, my prince” You spoiled him a
little, figuring he could use your cares at the moment. “I’ll stay right here
with you”

“Text Ignis” He said, rolling his eyes
dramatically. “Just don’t make a big deal out of it, he’ll come all the way
here”

“And you don’t want that because you want me
to spoil you a little, right?” You tried again, hoping to cheer him up with
your usual horseplay.

“Maybe…” He confessed, shrugging slightly.

Noctis dedicated you a tiny smirk, to which
you pinched his cheek fondly.

Briefly taking your phone out, you texted Ignis
–saying you had a headache and felt a
bit unwell, hoping he knew of some medicine to help you. That way he wouldn’t
freak out about Noctis being sick –and saved your phone to focus all your attention back on Noctis.

GLADIO

Another loud sneeze, and scandalous one that
made you jump yet again. Gladio laughed just like the other times, but you knew
that he was acting tough because he didn’t look so good.

He just preferred to keep appearances,
especially in front of you.

“Come on, big guy” You teased him, tilting
your head to the side as you rested one hand in your hip. “Drop the macho attitude”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, babe”
There was his iconic smug smirk again.

“You have one hell of a cold”

“It must be, right? To take me down?”

You took his hand and pulled at it while
showing him your best smirk.

“Come to bed with me” You said, making him
follow you to the room.

“Alright” Instead, Gladio let go of your hand
and wrapped a strong arm around your waist.

His other hand wrapped behind your knees as
he tried to pick you up, but he gave up. That right there was proof that he
wasn’t at his usual prime form, since Gladio always lifted you up like you
weighted nothing and carried you everywhere.

“Stop being a manly man for a moment and let
me take care of my man, okay?” You pinched his cheek, to which he glared at you
unamused, but he obliged when you tenderly held his hand again.

The two of you walked to the bed, and while
he lied down and got comfortable, sighing in content, you went to pick up the
laptop. That way you could relax together and maybe watch some movies.

He grinned at you as he watched you work, endeared
and proud that you were willing to spend the whole day with a sniffy and sick
Gladio. Yet you had no problem at all.

“Is there anything you need?” You tapped your
bottom lip in deep thought as you gave him the computer. “Maybe some blankets? Medicine? A glass of water?
Some snacks?”

“The only thing missing here is you, babe”
With a sexy and comical sneeze, he patted the bed.

You laughed openly, making him smile even
though he started coughing right after.

Knowing him, you were positive that he wouldn’t
take any medicine. He absolutely hated it and preferred to power through
anything unless he was feeling absolutely to the limit.

Bringing a blanket with you so he would stay
warm with his changing temperature, you lied down next to him and covered the
both of you with it. He wrapped a strong arm around you and brought you closer
to his side, grateful to have you with him.

As Gladio rested the laptop on his legs, you
got comfortable leaning on his side as he typed one of his favorite movie
titles, Apocalypse Now, and set it up.

He looked down at you just in time to meet
with your own glance and he smirked smugly just to soften his expression and
chuckle sweetly. Gladio knew you usually didn’t like the kind of movies he did
and you’d often meet in the middle so he wouldn’t have to watch romantic movies
and you didn’t have to sit through war or violent ones.

Yet Gladio was sick and he knew you would
spoil him by letting him watch it, also bearing with it yourself. You just couldn’t
say no to a cute and sick Gladio.

“Just this time, Gladio” You playfully
patted his chest, making him laugh a little.

“I would kiss you, but I don’t want to get
you sick”

“That’s your punishment, you have to be
content with just holding my hand”

Amused by your quick wit and sass, he hit the
play button on the laptop before gently taking your hand in his.

He was definitely content because he felt
lucky that he got to spend his sick days with someone so special to him and
that would take such good care of him.

Gladio just squeezed you in his arms, not
really paying that much attention to the movie.

IGNIS

“Iggy!” You scolded him, hurrying to his
side. “I thought we had agreed that you would take it easy”

“Quite the opposite” He replied in an
exhausted and sick voice. “You had merely suggested it, I never agreed to it”

“You’re sick” You pushed him by the shoulders
so he would sit down on the bed. “And you need to rest”

It wasn’t the first time it happened too, he overdid himself with work and ended up getting sick because he didn’t rest properly. But he was so pigheaded! Ignis had already stood
up from the bed twice, assuring that he definitely had messages on his phone or
something that required his attention.

“I need to tend to my duties” Was that man
stubborn.

“Noct can survive one day without you” You
tried to reassure him, knowing that he was worried about the prince.

The glare he gave you showed how unamused he
was by such statement, and how he strongly disagree with you. If you were being
honest, and knowing that boy, you knew he was bound to be a mess without Ignis’
supervision.

“Well, he’s gonna have to” You resolved to
say, keeping your hands on his shoulder so he wouldn’t stand up. “Just relax
and take it easy”

The man sighed in exhaustion, taking his
glasses off and pinching the bridge of his nose. That probably meant that he
was suffering from a terrible headache, but he never complained.

“Why don’t I prepare you some coffee?” You
offered, knowing how much he loved it.

“That would be lovely, Y/N” He put his
glasses on again and dedicated you a weak smile. “Thank you”

“Very well” You briefly kissed him in the cheek
in an attempt to cheer him up. “Stay here, I’ll be back in a flash”

Hoping he would actually listen this time,
you headed for the kitchen. You wished you had Ebony since it was his favorite,
but you had to resign yourself with pouring him some of the regular coffee that
was already in the pot. You didn’t even have to prepare it.

Opening the cabinets, you looked for a mug. Picking
the one you knew he used the most, you easily poured the beverage and put it in
the microwave to heat it up.

“Everything in order?” His voice startled you
since you weren’t expecting him to come back.

“I should be asking that to you” You shook
your head in disapproval and sent him a glare.

Knowing that he was testing your patience, he
feebly walked over to the nearest chair and plopped down in a way much unlike
him. Poor man was obviously exhausted and drained from his energies.

You stopped the microwave and carefully
handed him the mug, which he placed on the table until it cooled down slightly.

“You don’t look so well” You told him, softly
resting a hand on his forehead. His skin felt warm. “You really need to get
some rest, Iggy!”

“I’m afraid you’re right” His green eyes
reluctantly met with yours. “I will, I promise. You should go home now, I mustn’t
keep you”

“You won’t get rid of me so easily” You sat
on his lap, hugging him tightly.

You lingered on the embrace, resting your head on his shoulder and squeezing him gently. That seemed to encourage him a little more,
because when you broke away to look at him he was smiling.

Even if he was pale and looked tired, that
small smile was tender and beautiful.

“You are in no obligation to stay, my love”
His arms warmly engulfed you as he sent you the most loving glance.

“But I want to!” Taking the coffee and giving
it back to him now that it was supposed to be cool enough to drink, you smiled
sweetly at him. “It’s not every day I get to order you around, Ignis Scientia
no less. Not to mention spoil you a little”

Ignis chuckled softly, to your surprise,
adjusting his glasses before taking the mug from your hands.

“Very well” He paused to sip at the coffee,
which seemed to do him good. “I could definitely do with your company, darling”

“Let’s go then” Chuckling as the mug returned
to your hands yet again, you held it for him as you helped him up the seat.

Ignis weakly rested an arm over your
shoulders as you accompanied him back to his room.

For the rest of the day, he let you spoil him
–although reluctantly –and you basically cuddled in the bed until he felt a
little better. Even then, you convinced him to take it easy and have a lazy day
in with you to make sure he completely recovered.

PROMPTO

“Y/N!” Prompto called you again from his
room, extending the syllables in a childish yet adorable whine.

“Coming!” You replied from the living room,
sighing as you thought he had finally fallen asleep.

When you arrived to his room, you observed
him curled up in the bed like a child. He heard you arriving and glanced at the
threshold where you stood, pouting in your direction.

“I can’t sleep…” He complained, feebly
resting his head on the pillow again.

“Can I get you something, Prom?”

“No…”

You smiled fondly, knowing he was torn
between letting you help him and his desire not to be a nuisance. He couldn’t
make up his mind because he wanted all your attention and affection but also
hated to think he was a burden.

“You sure?” You walked up to him and brushed
the hair off his forehead to leave a soft kiss there. “You don’t need anything?
Nothing at all?”

A little flustered because of the unexpected
kiss, he shyly looked up at you.

“Maybe lie down here with me?”

“You got it”

Grinning because he had given in to his need
of affection, you easily lied down next to him. You knew that your boyfriend
was an affectionate person, but when he felt sick he needed much more
attention.

You hugged him, softly resting your head on his
chest and your hand on his shoulder.

“How’s your stomach feeling?” Gingerly, you rubbed your hand against it.

“Still hurts” Prompto often suffered from
intense stomach aches, and they always rendered him in a weak and sad mood.

But at least cuddling you always cheered him
up. Not to mention how great you were taking care of him, making him feel so
loved and special.

“I’m tired…” He snuggled even closer to you,
nuzzling his nose into your hair and comfortably resting there.

Another thing you had noticed was that he got
very whiny and childlike when he felt under the weather. Some might think it
was slightly annoying, but you found it endearing and adorable.

“Want me to talk to you?” Hearing the
soothing sound of your voice relaxed him as you narrated things to him in a low
voice, no matter what the subject was.

Prompto closed his eyes and nodded, frowning
and pursing his lips together in a sulky way. Then he feebly moved again so he
was lying down on top of you instead.

You chuckled at his demeanor and hugged him
tight as he rested his weight atop of you. One of your hands also sunk into his
soft hair, which was your secret weapon to get him sleepy. It never failed.

That boy just felt completely safe and
comfortable being held by you, especially if you played with his hair. He secretly
adored being the little spoon.

Hence, you spoke with the softest voice you could
manage as your hand absently caressed his hair. Prompto’s breath tickled your
skin as he sighed in content, and he sometimes let out a tiny groan of happiness.

Soon enough, he had fallen asleep. Mission accomplished.

His stomach would probably settle and he would
feel much better after he had some rest.
