katzuyas:

it’s a dog owner thing that when you hear your dog barking, you can recognize it no matter where you are or what you’re doing – you just hear it. and the thing is that when victor and yuuri move in together, yuuri takes the evening walks and victor takes the morning walks and the mornings will find makkachin and victor jumping into bed with yuuri, but the evenings?

the evenings will be yuuri taking makka on the walk around the neighbourhood and whenever they get close to home, makkachin’s cheerful barking will bring victor to the small balcony where he’d feel like juliette greeting her romeo, or a rapunzel waiting to throw her long hair down for her beloved, and he’d blush and smile, and wait till makkachin’s little feetsies scramble on the floorboards of their little home before turning around to see his yuuri in the balcony doorway, smiling back at him like victor’s own beloved prince, and victor will know – deep in his heart, he’ll know – that no prince could ever match up to what he has here, because it’s perfect, it’s his, and it’s forever
