i know children in abusive situation can sometimes display adhd like symptoms so by that logic there may also be a chance that it aggravates already existing symptoms.

but yeah, i’d also say that abuse isn’t exactly the best contributor of good mental health so by symptoms i really mean anything from depression to anxiety to ptsd and so on
