Does Sombra start using McCree’s name at any point? I can imagine she didn’t really feel the need to take his name because it wasn’t really important to either of them. But then at a parent teacher conference the teacher calls her Mrs. McCree for the first time and Jesse is just beaming ear to ear.

I mentioned in this post that Sombra never officially takes McCree’s last name, as they don’t legally get married. However, they do consider themselves married after they give each other wedding rings when Noé comes along. Whenever Sombra thinks of her true name, she just pictures it as ‘Olivia Colomar McCree’. 

As with being called Mrs. McCree, Sombra always takes it on because she doesn’t see a problem with it. Plus, McCree absolutely loves hearing anyone referring to her as Mrs. McCree, and it makes him very sappy towards her afterwards. Something about knowing she’s his wife in every way possible just melts his soul.

Sombra: Are you going to do this every time someone calls me Mrs. McCree?

McCree, after referring to Sombra as his wife for the 100th time that evening: Yes.
