Could you do the bros with a bubbly loud s/o who starts being quieter and less enthusiastic after someone makes a snide comment about her volume? 😍

Hi Anon, thanks for the ask! Per my FAQ, romantic asks are kept gender-neutral, so this will use they/them. This also assumes their S/O was loud somewhere it wasn’t inappropriate as that would change their reactions some. 🙂 

Noctis takes a good month to put 2 and 2 together, and when he does he immediately looks up from his phone and over to his S/O next to him on the couch. “Hey, you do you.” They’re confused, and he goes on. “Be excited or whatever…I mean, so long as you’re not at a funeral.” 

Prompto waits until the next day to say something when he sees they’re still subdued. “Don’t be down or embarrassed! It’s okay to be into stuff and sometimes get a little loud!” He only pauses for a moment before snickering and tacking on a that’s what she said, making them laugh too. 

Gladio looks at said snide-comment maker the second his S/O lowers their eyes and voice. “Somethin’ wrong with being loud in a park? Or is it only okay if you’re being a jerk?” He leads them away to do something else, but his immediate defense cheers his S/O up quickly. 

Ignis watches them for a couple of days before talking to them. “Are you still dwelling on that remark? You weren’t the one out of line there.” When his S/O is still embarrassed, he takes them to do something that is sure to get them excited and bubbly again–once they see it’s okay, they keep it up.
