I feel like Ardyn would use a phoenix down on Noctis. This is all too easy to be satisfying for him.

I was kind of tying with the idea that there was a sort of…not enchantment, but blessing on the dagger that made it dangerous to even Ardyn’s immortality.

Noctis got close for this purpose. (He may have gotten a bit too close)
