Joey is only 2cm shorter than Yami Marik but about 10lbs heavier and has street fighting experience. He literally could have knocked Yami Marik the f- out and saved everyone a lot of drama.

I like how people in the notes think that Yami Marik the malnourished psychosis twink could have gone any amount of rounds against Card Games Ken the Street Rat. If everyone had thought critically and let Jonouchi “Gearfried Hands” Katsuya get in there, he would have hurled Marik off the blimp without even making a smart remark. Those hands are rated G for General Audiences. It took a whole ass lightning bolt to take his ass out and Raigeki wasnt even tournament legal at the time.

Joey would have sent Marik’s goofy ass to the shadow realm on some “i summon my heel in attack mode, i set you face down and end my turn” if it wasn’t for the plot, don’t get it twisted.
