In canonverse how would Hanzo and Symmetra have met?

itshigh-boop:

I can see them meeting after Symmetra finally finds out the truth about Vishkar. Perhaps she is not the only one to have been blinded by the promises and work that the company has done for others but she’s not at all pleased with how her work has seemingly also been co aligning with Talon’s philosophy, whether she likes it or not. Sanjay Korpal – the person she trusted and looked up to is one of Talon’s prominent heads and thus, leading Vishkar in a certain direction that she does not want to follow. Is the particular and orderly life she’s constructed for herself nothing but a carefully fabricated illusion?

She feels lost and leaves Vishkar, swearing that she will never again have anything to do with it or Talon for as long as she’ll live. Unfortunately, this declaration leaves her many enemies within both Talon and Vishkar. If they cannot utilize her great talents, then she’s better off dead.

It’s close calls and exhausting nights of being on the run for Satya until she finds herself in Indonesia. She’s still wondering what she could do – her resources are running low and betrayal still weighs heavily on her mind. She sits in a cheap bar, simply happy to get some sort of rest. The small establishment is filled with strange characters but she ignores them for the most part.

What she hadn’t expected was for Talon agents to come searching for her. They’re adamant on keeping her out of the picture. What she doesn’t know is there someone in that bar that loathes Talon almost as much as she does. When the agents even attempt to pull out their weapons, there are arrows that lodge into their armor, quickly engulfing them in an electric spark that shocks and incapacitates them.

Satya turns to see a disgruntled, casually dressed man sitting at the bar before he turns and finishes his drink. When he does, he walks over and plucks the arrows lodged into their gear out and inspects them. “Pathetic.”

The first thought to Satya’s mind is how this stranger managed to so cleanly handle the disruption without bloodshed. His movements were elegant and precise. Perfect is the word that comes to mind – and it isn’t until she sees him staring at her, both in question and suspicion that she remembers to address him, thanking him for the assistance.

The stranger tells her that he’s dealt with Talon before – as soon as he saw their insignia, he thought they were after him but was met with surprise and a fair amount of disgust that they seemingly chase all sorts of people down.

Both decide to leave before any reinforcements arrive, and it’s then that strange archer asks what on earth she could have done to garner Talon’s interest (and hostility). She introduces herself as an ex Vishkar agent and tells him what she’s discovered. Perhaps she should be more selective with her information but she’s already still upset over every development so far. She calls herself a fool for not seeing the signs back in Rio de Janeiro.

They don’t learn much more of another, but he does give her his name. Hanzo. He also offers her to help escort her to the nearest port where she can leave and hopefully throw off Talon’s lead on her whereabouts.

From there, I can see her accepting his offer and the two only finding more Talon agents along the way. The two see one another’s style when it comes to self defense – both seem to avoid bloodshed whenever possible. Any talks that might spring up always reflect around ideals of order and discipline. To find someone who hold such ideals so highly – it’s rare. And welcome.

A breath of fresh air in their lives that are currently so disorderly and chaotic.
