Sometimes people message me and say things like “I know it’s not much, but I love your blog!” or “I’m sorry to bother you, but one drawing you made resonated with me.” and I just wanted to say that your message isn’t a bother and it isn’t “not much.” It means a lot.

Somedays it means everything. Somedays being a person is tough, and then I’ll see this act of kindness and it feels so big and magical and enough. It’s like yeah, there are bad things, but there are also people who do good things even when they don’t have to. And those things might not always be hard or extremely consuming, but that doesn’t mean they don’t count. If you did something good no matter how small it might seem, you did something good.

And if you did something good for me, thank you. Thank you for reading this post. Thank you for looking at my doodles. Thank you for every like, every reblog, and every kind message. It means more than I could ever express.
