I got a snail-mail letter from ‘paypal’ claiming i needed to change some info on my account or else I wouldn’t be able to process anymore payments after the 30th, except i couldnt find anything about this online, and said info is only really needed if I actually have my own website that processes payments. The letter also said they’ve been trying to ‘inform’ me of this for 2 years, and told me which web addresses to use to edit my info (addresses that i didn’t recognize but had ‘paypal’ in the name, most likely not paypal’s official site though)

Called paypal themselves and they confirmed they dont send letters like that or else they’d have it marked on my account, told me to disregard it and throw the letter away.

Always double check whenever you get emails or letters from companies that involve your money and personal information!
