Whaaaaaa! The thought of McCree being so upset over Sombra’s disappearance is heartbreaking! 💔 But what if she stops seeing him because she finds herself falling for the King? And she stays away because she doesn’t want to end up Queen? It’s painful but it’s the best thing for them both. He’ll finally stop chasing a dream and she can stick to doing what she does best.

Sombra sees it as a bad situation with a good person. If she stays, she becomes Queen, which she really doesn’t want to be. If she goes, she still gets her freedom and adventure but then there’s the king still circling in the back of her mind. It’s almost annoying were it not for the fact she’s starting to miss the sound of his laughter. 

She ends up coming back into the city closest to the castle. The rumors of the king wanting to marry a thief still haven’t died away, but nothing else moves on gossiping lips. Nothing of her true name, or a search for the thief. 

The king is understanding enough to let her go if she wants to be gone, but that just makes Sombra’s chest twist even more.
