I’ll actually reblog this in case other people have the same question, but make sure that you have your interact key bound to something! 

In options, under controls, scroll down until you reach “communications” and then make sure “interact/acknowledge” is bound to something! The default should be “F”

Then, when you’re standing within range of the tele, it should work (that range is like… inside it sjfhasdkjh)
