FREAKING OUT FLOWER DESIGNS AND BACKGROUNDS

As head of prop design, among many other side positions I had, my job was to conceptualize all the new prop designs we had show up in this video. One of the biggest contributions was definitely the flower designs. We went through about a solid month or so to get these down just right, incorporating a bit of each character’s design into the final concepts. Mystery’s flower mostly just needed another view and touch up since it was already designed by Ben, being the simplest flower.

Ben also gave me a starting point for each flower even though they are meant to be more fantasy like designs in the end. Arthur’s was based on sunflowers, Vivi’s was blue orchids, and Lewis was a purple rose. 🙂

For those of you interested in the concepting phase of Freaking Out. There was a decent amount involved in this video.
