Can we get more poltergeist 76 content? Maybe the reader’s home gets broken into and he protects them?

tacticalvisor76:

a/n: sure you can get more poltergeist 76! i’m weak to the man and i really enjoyed writing the last request so here we go! hope that you enjoy it!

Jack didn’t pay much attention to the noise at first. The windows would rattle from storms all the time, he learned to tune it out focusing on your sleeping form that was currently laying in bed unaware of the storm outside your window, perfectly content in the realm of dreams.

It isn’t until he hears something shatter is when Jack becomes on alert. A malevolent force had entered your home, the footsteps heavy, breathing quick and excited to have gotten in. Human. Jack growled before he slipped into the walls, watching the human as it went about riffling in your things, pocketing more than a few items.

It’s when they made those few steps towards your room did he react. Bending the objects in the house to his will, commanding them to dance on invisible strings while they struck the intruder upside the head, the sound of yelling and banging caused you to open your door to see pots, pans, and your coffee table fall on the human.

You’d quickly set about calling the police while he made sure that the human could not attempt to run away. It took some time, due to the storm but the police arrived and arrested the human. Returning what was yours while you called the human you rented the home from that your window was damaged.

After all that was done, a bag placed over the window, everything put back where it belong’s Jack sitting beside you on your sofa where you were drinking hot chocolate.

“Thank you, Jack.” if he could die again, your smile would be the cause of it. He couldn’t help but smile in return, your smile was infectious. You were safe, and that’s all that he needed for his own smile to radiate that same infectious reaction yours does to him.
