First kiss together headcanons for any ship you want? 👀

Yay! What a fun request! I’d like to do some different ships, if that’s okay. c:

HanMei
Their first kiss together is a quiet moment, I like to think when they’re outside, maybe overlooking a city. It’s the first snow of the season so it’s cold but they’re bundled up. Hanzo and Mei have been working together and known each other for about a year or so now. Things have been admitted, judgements have been made but through it all, they’ve remained partners and emerged better friends. They share a tender kiss after a quiet confession of affection for one another. Both Hanzo and Mei blush afterward but anyone can tell that they’re happy.

MercyHog
Mercy’s been with Roadhog for quite some time. The two started out with a rocky relationship, with the two throwing accusations of ‘hypocrite’ at one another. Over time, they’ve grown to respect one another and learn that outward appearances and outside opinions can never truly be the tool one relies to cast judgement on a person. Their first kiss is small and indirect but no less important. Mako and Angela take shelter in a small, abandoned shack. She tends to the wound he received in protecting her from a group of bandits they ran across. A few nights before, they had a conversation that involved Mako somewhat chastising Mercy for her overgrown heart. Now, as she helps him recover, she whispers to him that clearly she’s not the only one with sentiments too great to bear. She places a gentle kiss on the snout of his mask before he brushes her cheek with his knuckle. The two say nothing more but it’s apparent their relationship has changed.

High Justice
Jesse and Fareeha just returned from a mission. Only this time, Jesse’s in the arms of Fareeha as she carries him off the ship and back into the base. She stares straight ahead, an irritated look on her face as she lectures McCree on all the mistakes he made on the field. Jesse simply stares at her, no shame in the situation as he listens. When she turns and asks him if he’s been listening, he shakes his head. “I’d do it all again if it meant keepin’ ya safe, Fareeha.” She turns, scoffing but there’s a visible flush to her cheeks. He’s the only she trusts to watch her six but there’s no point if something happens to him, she tells him. He smiles. “Ain’t no point in reachin’ for the sky if ya ain’t up there waitin’, darlin’.” He ends his comment with a quick kiss to her cheek and Fareeha nearly stumbles in her step, cursing under her breath and quickly taking him to see Mercy.

Symmji
Symmetra and Genji have gained a strange friendship ever since the Recall and search for new heroes to join the steadily reforming Overwatch. The two bond over meditation, the order and harmony that they prefer to maintain in their lives. Too many, Symmetra seems blunt and at times uncaring but to Genji, Satya cares a great deal about the world around them. He supposes it’s the way people perceive her that draws him to her as it reminds him of himself. She does not sneer at his cyborg status nor does she pity him (or treat him like glass). She merely asks him to complete his tasks and to do so with poise. Working with her brings him a sort of calm that he just cannot seem to achieve when working with others. He doesn’t fall hard or fast but over time, seeing her rare smiles becomes the highlight of his day. Genji steadily gains the courage to confess his feelings to her. The day he does, she simply stares at him. He grows nervous, wondering if he ruined a friendship until she sighs. “I suppose this is why you’ve shown less control on the field. With this confession, will things return to normal?” He laughs, thinking that answer is so very ‘Satya’ and tells her that they will. “Hm, then I accept. I admit that I too have harbored…different sentiments for you. May I kiss you?” The question catches him off guard but he’s no less elated. He agrees and she places a small kiss to his visor before he returns the favor.
