McCree has seen Sombra before, he just didn’t know it was her until later. A few times McCree will drift down to Dorado for bounty hunting opportunities. The first few times, a woman in neon green tattoos and pink, spiky hair shared a few drinks and flirty lines with him.
On Christmas, he meets Sombra. She is beautiful and mysterious, but he’s occupied with drowning his mind. Their conversation is brief and little.
After that night in the bar, McCree searches for her, and finds her once again. Even after the drunken state he plastered himself into, he still remembers her. In the same bar, he treats her to a few drinks and they begin flirting but she will reveal nothing of herself. Frankly, McCree is quite smitten by this strange and sharp woman.
They share a bed. The technology along her spine and her thick hair amaze him.
Sombra remembers that night vividly. The cowboy isn’t what most men are. His southern accent and still gentlemanly ways have worked past her defenses. He is honest and genuine when the world has so many fake masks. There is no hope for a future together though, so she leaves the cowboy.
McCree can’t find her the next little while in Dorado. He leaves, focusing on the next bounty.
