Anyone who’s spent way too much time decorating their housing in FFXIV knows what a big deal this picture is: a Manor Oven, pushed partially into the wall? Madness!

But it’s real.

Here’s the deal: with the new storeroom option, when you place an item directly from storage, it gets placed a few feet in front of your character. Even if normally that furniture can’t be placed directly against or into a wall!

This also works for placing items on landings and ledges that normally can’t have decor items placed at all, and for hovering items in midair without the help of a handy shelf.
