Came about when discussing FMA/TotA AU with @jeminy3
And my phone autocorrected “i’d love to see jade and roy sassing each other” to “i’d love to see jade and roy saddling each other” and it was 3am and the conversation escalated quickly. But shit got deep and we talked abt the dynamics and psychological aspects of their interactions and how a relationship slowly builds between them,

and also how they’re both 35 year old colonels with ~super rare and special secret abilities~  and tragic pasts that get stuck helping angsty teenagers save the world. 

I know this is old, but OP might have accidentally the best crack OTP ever. Bless this post. I have pulled it up on numerous occasions to look at it cos it is flawless.  Thank you, OP, this has not just made my day, but probably made several of my days over the last year. Even if you never draw jade (or roy) again, it’s okay because this is perfect.  I’m glad it exists. It makes me giggle and gives me a big doofy smile every time (and i have a weakness for both of these Problem Colonels)
